About BRICKHOUSE

BRICKHOUSE is a free ultra-heavy block display font for bold headlines, posters, packaging and short brand statements. Its solid monochrome outlines combine compact counters with slightly irregular edges. Regular v0.100 includes 362 Unicode mappings across 363 glyphs: uppercase and lowercase Latin letters, numerals, Latin extensions, punctuation, currencies and combining accents. No Hangul, Cyrillic or Greek alphabet support. This website ZIP contains one TTF and SIL OFL 1.1; Reserved Font Name: BRICKHOUSE. Free for personal and commercial use under the license conditions. Use at 48 px or larger; complex accents and symbols are best at 64 px or larger. Small counters and distinctions weaken at 18–24 px. O/0 and I/l are intentionally similar. Sharp s (ß/ẞ) is more open and lighter than the main alphabet; ł has a short diagonal projection, and some extended symbols use rounder terminals. Start multi-line settings at line-height 1.42 and inspect the final output. One combining accent is supported; arbitrary stacked mark-to-mark accents are not. Release review covered all 357 visible mapped characters plus .notdef at enlarged scale for shape, context and technical appearance. Parsing, shaping, outline, metrics and raster checks passed; a clean source-only rebuild reproduced the released binaries exactly. This is an unhinted display font. Tests do not establish installation or compatibility in every design application; check your final text in your intended app.
