Privacy notice

Browsing and downloads

You do not need an account, name or email address to browse or download fonts. The JFFF application does not store individual download histories or visitor IP addresses in its database. It records a total number of download requests for each font.

Font activity statistics

We keep daily totals of font detail-page views and the first download click during each page visit. These first-party statistics use no analytics cookies, visitor identifiers or browser storage. We do not store IP addresses, referring URLs, preview text or individual event histories in the analytics database. A repeat visit may count again; a click does not confirm a completed download.

Activity statistics are skipped when your browser signals Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, and for signed-in owner previews. Blocking statistics does not affect font downloads. These preferences do not disable the existing server-side total of download requests.

Contact messages

If you use the contact form, we store the name you choose to provide, your reply email, topic, message and submission time in a private operator inbox. We use this information to review and respond to your request. Messages expire after 30 days and are removed when the inbox or contact form is next processed. Please avoid sending confidential information.

To limit spam, we process the connection IP address into a secret-keyed identifier that changes each hour. We store only that identifier and a request count, not the IP address. These counters expire within two hours and are removed during the next cleanup. A separate daily total expires within two days. These protections use no visitor cookies and are separate from font activity statistics.

For a privacy request, use the contact form and select Privacy request. Include a message reference if you have one.

Your preview text

Text you enter in a font preview and the associated display settings are handled in your browser. They are not saved to our server.

Admin sign-in and uploads

Font management is restricted to the operator using a private administrator access key and a secure session cookie that expires after 12 hours. Uploaded fonts, an operator identifier and modification timestamps are stored. Admin records are not displayed to visitors.

Cookies and hosting

We currently use no advertising code or third-party visitor analytics. Our hosting and authentication services may use session cookies for sign-in. The hosting provider may process connection data for service delivery and security under its own policies.

Retention and changes

Font files and admin records are retained to operate the library. Anonymous daily totals are retained to compare site activity over time. Making a font private removes it from public listings and prevents further public downloads; it does not delete stored files. If advertising or analytics are introduced, this notice will be updated to reflect the data actually processed.
