ORBISFree display serif font

ORBIS is a free high-contrast serif display font with heavy strokes and distinctive pinched counters. Designed for editorial headlines, posters, packaging and short brand statements. Regular v0.100 is a single, visually heavy, unhinted style. Thin strokes and pinched counters become less distinct at small sizes; inspect your final text at its intended size. Includes 362 mapped Unicode characters: printable ASCII, Latin-1, Latin Extended-A, Romanian comma-below letters and selected editorial symbols, currencies and combining marks. No Hangul, Cyrillic or Greek alphabet support. This website download contains one TTF plus the SIL Open Font License 1.1. Free for personal and commercial use under the license conditions. Reserved Font Name: ORBIS. Fresh-build review: all 357 visible mapped characters and .notdef were individually inspected; every changed glyph was reopened, and family/context, multilingual and size proofs were reviewed. Technical checks passed for outlines, metrics, clipping, shaping and kerning. A clean source-only rebuild reproduced the released binaries exactly. This review does not guarantee every application or text layout; check your final output.
