Using Silkhour

Is Silkhour free for commercial use?

Yes. Silkhour is free for personal and commercial projects under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. You can use it in logos, print, video, websites and apps. Keep the copyright and license when redistributing the font software. Read the license terms.

What is Silkhour best used for?

Silkhour — tall proportions, sculpted curves and fine hairline serifs. A high-contrast display face for editorial headlines, posters and identity work. Version 0.310 design preview includes revised ligatures, connected marks, character-specific spacing and expanded kerning. 330 encoded characters / 331 glyphs: uppercase, lowercase, numbers, Latin-1, Latin Extended-A and selected symbols. Best used for large headlines, starting around 64 px. No Hangul or independent combining marks. Full cross-browser and all-size validation remains in progress. Free under SIL Open Font License 1.1.
