Using Earlysoft

Is Earlysoft free for commercial use?

Yes. Earlysoft is free for personal and commercial projects under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. You can use it in logos, print, video, websites and apps. Keep the copyright and license when redistributing the font software. Read the license terms.

What is Earlysoft best used for?

Soft curves, early works. Earlysoft is a heavy rounded serif with swollen terminals, compact counters and playful proportions. Version 0.500 refines continuous lowercase contours, related bowls and rounded capitals, and restores fine symbol strokes. Includes 330 encoded Latin characters, figures and symbols (spaces included); 331 glyphs including .notdef. Regular style. Designed primarily for large headlines, posters and packaging; start at 48 px. No Hangul or independent combining marks. The green outline and cream fill are specimen styling, not embedded color-font features. Released under SIL OFL 1.1.
