Softbloom pairs inflated curves with open counters and a steady baseline. Its flowing F, broad W and soft R bring a playful character to store identities, event posters, packaging and short website headings.

Give it room to bloom.

Use 32–160 px for web headings or 24–120 pt for print titles. Start with zero tracking and kerning enabled. Pair it with a quieter text face for paragraphs, captions and navigation.

What is included

One Regular style in TTF, OTF and WOFF2, plus a web CSS example, an offline specimen, editable sources and the SIL Open Font License 1.1. There are 345 glyphs and 344 encoded characters: uppercase, lowercase, numbers, Latin-1, Latin Extended-A, selected punctuation and combining marks.

Release notes

Font structure, accent composition, core letter spacing, browser loading and Windows GDI rendering have been checked. Document editing in Word and Adobe apps and installation on macOS are not yet verified. Bold, italic, ligatures, Hangul, Cyrillic and complete Greek coverage are not included.

Install and start creating

  2. Open the TTF or OTF file and choose Install (Windows) or Install Font (macOS).
  3. Restart your design app and select JFFF Softbloom.

Install either the TTF or OTF, not both. For websites, use the WOFF2 file when included.
